Chris Pratt Movies

Chris Pratt (1979-) is an American actor. Pratt came to prominence with his television roles, particularly for his role in Parks and Recreation (2009–2015), for which he received critical acclaim.  He became a superstar when headlining not one, not two….but three movie franchises.  Those three franchises are The LEGO Movie, Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World.

His IMDb page shows over 65 acting credits since 2000. This page will rank Chris Pratt movies from Best to Worst in six different sortable columns of information. Television shows, shorts, cameos and movies that were not released in North American theaters were not included in the rankings.

    1. Hey Sanjay. Thanks for the mini review of his latest movie. I will be watching that one in the near future.

  1. bruce, thanks to UMR , I am becoming a chris pratt fan. I just rewatched Jurassic world tonight to prepare for the 2018 edition. I just saw his tweet on the main umr page, cool. I saw his top 9. her is a 10 and a favorite ( too weird to recommend, but great for me), wanted is the hidden gem if 426 mil in world wide box office can be hidden. lots of 9s despite my aversion to comic book movies.

    1. Hey bob cox….I am right there with in regards to Chris Pratt. He has had a wonderful rise to the top of the Hollywood world. The day he shared this little website was one of our best days since starting this site….we will be forever grateful for him doing that. Her is a great movie, but like you said…..it is too strange to recommend….but a wonderful movie. Wanted was a pretty good hit…..and if is fun seeing him in that movie….I do not even remember noticing him the first time I saw it. Good feedback.

  2. BRUCE
    1 CHRIS PRATT
Unfortunately I’ve never seen a Chris Pratt movie [with the exception of the 2008 Wanted in which of course my eyes were on my own favourite Morgan Freeman playing the bad guy for once] and the type of fare that you suggest engendered Chris’ rise to stardom does not appeal to me though perhaps some of his other vehicles might if I catch up on them. Generally I am not a great fan of the super/action-hero/sci-fi films though I have liked the Batman series because the early ones had Clooney and Michael Keaton whom I always find watchable and the later ones had Sir Maurice in delightful definitive supporting performances as Alfred. Nonetheless as always I am of course keenly interested in the stats for Pratt’s blockbuster movies and for all of the key franchises.

    2 LIZ TAYLOR
I am doing a special exercise on Liz for private amusement – and the one woman to ever get billed above Mr. Mumbles [cameos apart] in the half-century following Streetcar certainly deserves special attention! For the project I need actual as well as adjusted grosses and as usual your pages have been at least 99% helpful to me. However I see that the ACTUAL gross of $4.01 for Julia Misbehaves on Liz’s Cogerson page seems exceptionally low for an adjusted gross of around $164 for a 1948 film and in fact the $7.76 quoted on the 1948 Annual Review page seems more appropriate ?

    1. Hey Bob.
      1. Only one Chris Pratt movie? Shame shame shame….lol. Since Mr. Pratt is now a friend of the website (his tweet gave us our best day ever)…..I will be happy to recommend a few movies that you might like. (1) Delivery Man…he is in support of Vince Vaughn…..but he is easily the best part of the movie. (2) Moneyball….a Best Picture Oscar nominee…..he has another supporting role….but it is a memorable one. (3) What’s Your Number….has a horrible 35% rating…but I liked it….I thought it was a nice rom-com….plus you get his wife too.
      2. As for Elizabeth Taylor…..I think I need to go back and update her page…..seems I have better sources for her movies than when I first did that page in 2011 or 2012…..plus I know I have many of her worldwide grosses…..now that I fixed Cooper’s page….she is next on my list to fix…..will these updates ever end?…lol.
      3. The 1948 is much more recent that the Taylor page….so I would go with the most recent page when it looks at Julia Misbehaves.

  3. Hey Cogerson – I must admit that I have not seen any of his movies and he is not familiar to me but I wish him all the luck in the future. Thanks for the site.

    1. Hey BERN1960…thanks for checking out the site even if you are not aware of him…..pretty much think of him as the new Harrison Ford…..he has a Han Solo like role already lined up in Guardians of the Galaxy…….now he has a the starring role in Jurassic World….and there are rumors that he might be the new Indy Jones….which would really be following in Ford’s footsteps.

  4. To me they are the new Hollywood power couple. Even better is the fact that seem to be really happy. I hope they make it. I loved Chris in Jurassic World as he made a good movie a awesome one.

    1. Hey Anna& Chris Fan….you are right….the Pratt/Faris team is probably even outdoing the Pitt/Jolie team right now. I have not seen Jurassic World yet but I want to….thanks for stopping by.
