followingtheears: I feel like a big part of it is wanting to finish a series. Like to talk with friends about, self dedication or being invested in like 1 out of 8 characters. Like I felt that way with maison ikkoku. I’ll be damned if I don’t see kyoko get a happy ending
Yes exactly, taking part in the “discourse” (as the kids would say) is for sure a motivater to watching some things. That’s why I watched a bit of Darling in the Franxxx, because I wanted to see what everyone was talking about. But I’m trying not waste my own time anymore watching anime that I’m not invested in fully (key word there being trying).
I like how sometimes I finish watching actually good anime like Planet With…
and then sometimes I watch absolute bottom-of-a-NYC-dumpster TRASH like the second season of Uta no Prince-Sama

I was gonna say “i don’t know” but now that I’m actually typing this on my phone, I wish there was a way to queue a reply or add tags to it before you post it from mobile like you can on the webpage.
