The Crane Wives have no right to slap as hard as they do. They satisfy a very niche thirst that I can't exactly put a name to, but has been haunting me all the same.
The thirst to run away into the woods and live in a cottage by the stream and become a legend or story told in a nearby village that scares all the little children and you scare them off as they try and steal fresh bread off of your window mayhaps?
