The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is the United States’ largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to improving the lives of millions of Americans affected by mental illness.

NAMI relies entirely on gifts and donations for their funding.  The work they do consists of education programs, advocation on behalf of people with mental illnesses, awareness events and public activities, as well as a toll-free helpline for information and support.
