@kris_jeary Yeah, Andrew Weir has acknowledged that the storm was artistic licence (and kind of contradicted by a later scene in the book).

@adactio @SciHackDay_Dub the book was fantastic. I read it in three sittings. Its nice the top grossing movie has science in it.
