Lissa wore glasses and I noticed something about itty bitty Soren.

He squints at Viren before Viren says his name and Soren realizes it's Viren. And I'm assuming it's meant to be Virens office because we see a similar scene in s6 where Viren is writing his letter and Soren tries to get into Virens office to play with him before Viren rejects him. And Virens office isn't that dark, it had open windows and seems well lit meaning Soren isn't squinting because it's too dark. Sorens probably squinting because he genuinely can't figure wtf the giant blur is before he hears Viren say his name.

Which would make sense because Lissa wore glasses meaning Soren and Claudia possibly needing glasses would be expected. So Soren very possibly could just have a bit of bad eyesight but never said anything because he just assumed it was a side effect of being healed with dark magic or because Viren never really cared since he blames Soren for Lissa leaving.
