COTL - Be Safe ^3^
In my head, Aym and Baal are both like sons and brothers to Narinder (not literally--they aren't blood related at all. Being stuck together for 1,000 years will kinda force you to get close I think.) So, naturally, it stands to reason that these twin teenage troublemakers won't let any chink in Nari's aloof and uncaring persona slide. XD
Piglins!!
Really sad for the treatment they got in the movie๐ญ dont get me wrong, I loved the movie, but these guys are supposed to be chill!! They just like to trade gold and hunt hoglins.. my babies Iโll protect you
My sweet, sweet babies...got villanized so much....I call xenophobia :c
Anyone else listening to the audio "You are an adult, you can't fight us, we are just kids! We are just kids!" And thinking about Doomsday?
Like...Phil and Techno looked at teenagers and were like "yeah, we should do a radiation attack on them, they are definitely deserving of such a fate."
I don't care for their reasoning, I will genuinely never be able to see their actions as rational.
Reasons people may decline to comment or kudos on fanfiction they enjoyed:
- They consider comments and kudos transactional compensation to the author, and they don't feel that the work was good enough to deserve compensation, or they don't believe they owe compensation to fan authors in general.
- They consider comments and kudos as feedback, and they don't feel that the author wants or needs feedback from them.
However, comments and kudos aren't compensation, and they aren't even necessarily feedback either.
Comments and kudos for fan authors are:
- encouragement to keep writing
- reciprocation of a bid for connection
- interaction with your community
- confirmation that they're not the only one interested in their story
Please don't consider comments, or especially kudos, purely transactional or purely a form of feedback. Comments and kudos are a way to show authors in your community that you're glad they're there.
Authors aren't "entitled" to kudos or comments, but readers aren't "entitled" to fic, either.
Fanfiction is a community, and when an author repeatedly reaches out to their community for connection only to receive silence in return it is very discouraging and can result in the author withdrawing from the community altogether.
โships should at least make sense.โ no. ships can make sense, sure. but theyโre just fictional characters we play with for fun. theyโre fantasies, not a fucking thesis paper. so no, they donโt always have to make sense. they just have to make you happy (or horny).
let people enjoy (fictional) things however they want to enjoy.
I can deal with the needle if I close my eyes. My issue is....the sounds. I hear how they take my blood. The way it flows up that "tube".
A certain Fundy cosplayer made me remember my thoughts about Schlatts "final speech" in the van. The one where he says "I am something that you are not, Fundy, a man".
And...I know that some interpret it as transphobia/Schlatt trying to say something truly hurtful but I love to think about other possible interpretations.
For one, I am not sure if Schlatt even knows that Fundy is trans. I don't remember them discussing that (if they did, please let me know. I know that Wilbur, Tommy and Fundy talked about it). Fundy looks like a man, his voice may be higher but he could just be unlucky or maybe his voice didn't break yet, overall, Schlatt doesn't really care. Why would Fundy even lie about being a man.
So when Schlatt says his line, what he means is his definition of a man. (Which probably roots in toxic masculinity) He wants to say that Fundy is a coward. He doesn't actually stand for his values, for "his or Schlatts dreams". If he would be a man, he wouldn't be a spy, he would confront Wilbur, confront Schlatt before everything escalated, without the people around. Fundy is still a little boy, hiding behind his father leg and wanting his approval. This is why Schlatt doesn't "see him as a man".
For Fundy...it's deeper than that. Someone who he looked up to, says that his "identity" isn't correct. It doesn't matter how tight he binds, how he practices his voice, how he changes his appearance. He won't be a man in the eyes of others. It's not what Schlatt said or meant but it's what Fundy would interpret because it hurts so much more.
(I need....need them to talk after the revival.)
It's been a while since I've drawn the ghost boi. So here's a quick redraw of him ๐
He has a more messier look now. And maybe a bit gloomier
I'd like to think that the dye stains never quite dries off, leaving more stains wherever he touches
Also, also if he gets a bit stressed his chest wound "opens up" (red part)

This is gore of my comfort character /j (yes. Comfort character who has not a single day of comfort-- /lh)
