I had been looking for this book for some time and found it at Amazon. This is a definite "must have" if you are an Astrologer, or student of Astrology Why? It is THE source book for National and World Horoscopes. Nicholas Campion did very extensive research for this book and I trust his information completely. Why? Because I have worked with the information in this book and it works...

No need to look elsewhere. If you need a chart for a city or country its here. Also here (in this lovely and quite extensive) book is the history of each of the country with its exact chart information. Campion wrote this book in 1988 and the information in this book is (absolutely) still applicable. He did a tremendous amount of research to put this book together. I am very grateful for that. I have been an Astrologer for the past 30 years and this is a very hard book to find. The information in this book is not even available on the internet so don't look there. Just buy this book. I was thrilled to find it, buy it, and have it in my arsenal of Astrology books. This is a keeper. An extraordinary reference book to have in my library. I love this book.

This is an important reference for any serious mundane astrologer. I did, however, deduct one star because the book was missing at least the first two pages of the author's introductory notes. While I recognize that this is a printing error and was not caused by anything the seller did, I do think the seller does bear a small bit of responsibility for not doing a quality check of their wares before passing it on to their customer.

Other than that, the book is an excelent buy.

以前出ていたアクエリアン版より、内容がよりアップデートされています。版型が大きくなったうえで、６００ページを超える分量になっています。掲載されているチャートの惑星やノードのインデックスが黄道の３６０度順にまとめられているので、トランシットが各国に及ぼす影響についての基礎的な情報をさがすのに役に立ちそうです。

If you're interest in astrology goes deeper than the personal aspects of the subject, this is a book for you. Like people, countries can said to be born at a certain time and therefore one can draw a birthchart for them, although this book does not only countries but all sorts of things that relate to the world, like its genesis (for instance), the birthchart for Christ, or many suggested dates for the beginning of the age of aquarius, along with a section on rulerships. If there are several contending birthcharts for a country or an event, they are pretty thoroughly listed and drawn. There is no analysis of the charts themselves, this being up to you, although if you are able to do this, you will be able to see all sorts of interesting connections - I in particular noted recent upheavals in Libya and Iran as particularly clearly marked. Even in relation to the personal, one will see connections in these charts. Excellent

本書に先立ち"Mundane Astrology"（チャールズ・ハ−ヴェイCharles
Harveyらとの共著）を著しているが、本書はそのマンデン占星術に必須である、
国の出生（革命、独立等）にかんするチャートを、304ヶ国分収録等した一冊。

序言で著者は此処20年における、占星術データという分野のめざましい進歩につ
いて述べつつ、しかしながらマンデン占星術におけるそれは、まだまだ環境が整って
いない状況であるとし、国のデータの扱いの難しさ、問題点を列挙する。

個人のネイタル・チャートのデータの扱い（ロデンL.Rodden氏のアストロ・
バンクデータ等）同様、データの出所を明確にする為等に著者は、上記304ヶ国の
ホロスコープ説明用の、1,045の脚注を周到に掲げている。

小段落「本書の必要性」はまず、本書は嘗て先達チャールズ・カーターC.E.O.
Carterが危惧した、20世紀マンデン占星術の改善の一助になる事をめざす、
とする言葉から入る。

Pt.2はデータ蒐集の難しさ等−日にち・時間（「独立の瞬間」の定義、そして
そもそも、どの段階が独立なのか、等）及び場所選定、冷戦時代（当時）である事の
影響−について。

Pt.3は本書収録チャートの正確さについて。まず著者はホロスコープ一つひとつ
についてのチェック・システムについて詳述している。また場所、時間の採用基準や、
収録していない国、新聞等数多くのジャーナリズムが、異なった情報を唱えた場合、
いずれを選択するのか、等。

p.55〜325は本書メインである、各国ホロスコープ及びそれにかんする詳述
等。各国にかんする説明文の長さは、半頁で済むものからアメリカのように、10
数頁（p.293〜305）費やすもの迄まちまちである。
