This is a beautiful set, and my boyfriend loves it on me! I haven't worn it out of the house yet, but the material is very soft and comfortable against my skin. The skirt is pleasantly thicker than I expected while maintaining a light flowy feeling.

I am a huge fan of 2 piece matching outfits- I love a top and skirt paired together that perfectly match each other- so when I got the opportunity to receive this gorgeous 2 piece top and skirt set, I was very excited. I have also been following the Scarlet Darkness brand for quite some time because I love so many of their tops and dresses- the girly and feminine styles, cuts, and fabrics are right up my alley.

I received this top and skirt combo and couldn’t be happier! It is absolutely gorgeous. I chose the dark green color and I’m so glad I did- it is neutral enough to pair with gold or beige wedges or gladiator sandals for a girly look. It is made of a flowy, flattering fabric with a summery ruched linen style feel to it. The top had a subtle corset look but doesn’t have any boning- it is just a simple top with ruffle trim that is super flattering. The matching skirt has a flowy full length maxi cut. The skirt has an elasticized waistband which allows it to expand to fit. I love the top and skirt paired together and think it is so much more chic and fashion forward than just wearing an oversized frumpy maxi dress.
I think this top/skirt combo is also a great deal because you can wear each piece separately. I can see myself pairing the top with jeans in the summer for a cute and casual look. The skirt would even look cute paired with a plain top with a denim jacket over it. This outfit gives you so many different options in one. I highly recommend this high quality top/ skirt outfit. 5 stars!
