- Reviewed in the United States on July 13, 2016Love this book. The cycles of human life common to all of us, when put into the context of astrological transits and progressions, makes perfect sense.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 10, 2017Good book - every astrology library should have this!
- Reviewed in the United States on August 6, 2016great resource
- Reviewed in the United States on January 28, 2018If you are looking for specific progressed planet to natal planet aspect interpretations for all possible combinations, this is not the place to look. It's broken out into five basic chapters: 1) Foundation Trilogy: Chart Analysis--the First Steps 2) Basic Anatomy: The Chart as a Whole 3) Coming on Strong: Angularity (planets are always stongest on or near the four angles -- houses 1, 4, 7, 10 -- of the birth horoscope) 4) Changing Expressions: Planets in Progression (finally!) 5) Proof of the Pudding: Looking at an Example. If you are already acquainted with the basics of natal astrology, much of this is rehash. If you are looking for nitty gritty progressions superimposed on natal charts and timed for events, you get the progressed charts only. Personally, in a single chapter, I could give you chart examples of progressed aspects and their interpretations that would provide infinitely more insight than the delineations provided in this book. (Example: Divorce. Progressed Midheaven, Sun or other planet aspecting natal Uranus.) Some of these interpretations -- "Mars was almost exactly on the Nadir" -- are red herrings. The book is intelligently written, and readable, but the first three chapters weren't necessary -- there's more prologue than main course.
