First off, make sure you don't see this one dubbed, I mean dubbed it gets a 3... or maybe a 2.
The animation is so-so, sure it's not new but there's nothing exciting here.
Sound is there, you don't really notice it and the intro song you listen to once then you fast forward past it. The English voice actors are horrid, extremely out of place. The Japanese voice actors are better but the screaming gets boring after a while.
The story is unengaging from the start, there are some highlights that lift the series as a whole but in general it's just plodding along with completely wasted fight scenes where the female / male hero first is at a great disadvantage then annihilates the opposition. Or the constant boring hints at possible ecchiness that will never happen.
The characters themselves are pretty varying with most combinations of sexual orientations (duh) but beyond that they're either crybabies with serious maturity issues or generally boring. The main character evolves throughout the story, the others simply don't and the villains are villains, nothing more or less.
You won't watch this anime a second time, only reason I actually kept watching it was because I wanted to know how it ended. I don't feel it is an anime I can recommend to others, I didn't actually feel this anime draw me in a single time, it was like watching a stupid boring TV show with a storyline I wanted to see to the end so I could go to bed without thinking about it.
