I have felt myself grow a lot since the last series I did, and it feels right to revisit them slowly, over the course of a few months. I want to take a lot of input front different signs as I work on them, so that I get each dress correct and perfect. . It’s only right to start with Capricorn, given it’s the season. It’s also my sign, so I wanted to really play with my own sign and my own things that I love. So it’s no surprise why this dress is my favorite thing I’ve ever made. The colors were a hard thing to match, I am using the wrong side of this two tone tafetta and the underskirt? A bed sheet 😭. I knew I wanted to do something with scales, something high necked and powerful.
