It might sound tricky, but it’s just a slower rhythm—drop one color, pick up the next, and purl. No fancy techniques, just taking your time to switch colors as you go. Now, let’s talk color dominance. It’s a simple concept that really makes your design pop! The color you want to be more prominent (the “dominant” color) needs to be picked up from underneath the other yarn. I lay the background color over to the right and scoop the dominant one from below. This small adjustment makes sure the dominant color stands out more clearly in your work. It’s a subtle thing, but it really does make a difference!
