Using task boxes in your elementary classroom is a great way to stay organized. As a beginning teacher, you can create these task boxes and use it year after year. Task boxes in special education classroom are perfect for independent stations. My special ed students can easily go to the independent center and get out exactly what they need. My teaching them the expectation of the organization it also helps them. Task boxes activities for special ed students can be about anything!

I love using file folders because they are so easy to store and a great way to practice life skills when you are at a desk. Plus, my students always think they are playing games with file folders too.
