This train runs from March- December. It’s an effortless 2-hour drive from Denver (and trust me, because I’m not too fond of driving). It was such a fun day trip from Denver as well. On my way back, I stopped at the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. I was seated in the Vistadome, which had gorgeous views! And I recommend seeing if you get a left-side ticket (I think it’s an odd number seat) for the best views! However, the right side is also wonderful.
