And wish I knew beforehand 👀😅 Step 1 - Unbox your panelling and let it lay for 24/48 hours, this helps avoid bowing of the wood due to packaging/handling! Step 2 - Measure out your wall and wood before diving in. You don’t want to have too little wood to work with. We bought 2 sets per wall as a back up which meant we could add or take off however we wanted and had spare for other projects. Step 3 - Trust the process and have patience. Let the glue/adhesive sit a bit before applying the wood to the wall to give it the best chance of sticking correctly. I would say 5/10 mins! Or use a nail gun 🌿 Step 3 - Use filler/caulk to fill in any gaps. Make sure to let dry correctly before sanding your panelling. Then silicone it to give a clean gap-less look. (can even hide bowing! 4 - Prime the wood with a coat of white paint before your chosen colour. This helps give a clear base for application and a cleaner finish.
