German Gas Masks
This is a picture of German Gas Masks. These masks have the purpose of saving soldiers from the harmful and usually fatal effects of poison gas used in WW2. They are created with glass for the eye holes, rubber to form a seal around the head, metal or more rubber to go around the face, and then they have an absorbent or neutralizer in the intake part (activated charcoal, etc.) to eliminate the harmful toxins from the air coming in.
