My sweet boy, James, passed away in my arms at 40 days old from hypoplastic right heart syndrome, a congenital heart defect that was diagnosed hours after his birth. He was a strong, beautiful boy that I think of every minute of every day. Eight months later, his baby sister, Charlotte, was born still. She was to be my rainbow baby after the loss of James. Although I didn't get to hear her cries, see her eyes open, change her diapers, she is my daughter.
