Patty: -200g firm tofu, crumbled -2 tbsp tomato paste -1 tbsp soy sauce -50g dried tomatoes, chopped -a good pinch of salt -1 teaspoon each of paprika and cumin -1/2 tsp garlic powder -5 tbsp (chickpea) flour Mix well and shape into 2 large patties. Fry in oil until golden brown. Sauce: -100g unsweetened vegan yogurt -2 tsp tahini -Juice of half a lime -1/2 tsp garlic powder -a pin

Maya / plant-based food and recipes on Instagram: "Veganuary 5/25 🌱 Butter tofu aka THE BEST TOFU EVER!🥹😍 I’ve been making this for years now and my entire family (even my bro) loves it!😋 RECIPE (4 servings, 25min prep time): -400g firm tofu, pat dried -2 Tbsp corn starch -salt and pepper -1 Tbsp oil Mix and bake at 200C for 15mins. -1 onion -2 cloves garlic -a thumbsize piece of ginger -2 Tsp each ground coriander, cumin and garam masala -1/2 Tsp chili powder Fry for a few minutes in oil. -2 1/2 cups (625ml) tomato passata Stir it in let it simmer for 5-10mins Then blend. -1 cup (250ml) coconut milk -a squeeze of lemon -1 Tsp sugar -salt to taste Add it with the tofu, stir and serve with rice or naan. Fry in oil until crispy. Glaze: -4 Tbsp agave or maple syrup -juice of 1 small lemon -1 Tsp each paprika, ground coriander, cumin -1/2 Tsp each chili powder garlic powder -salt to taste -1-2 Tbsp water Mix and add to the tofu. Stir and fry for 2-3mins until nicely glazed. RECIPE LEVEL 2 (4 servings, 35min prep time): -400g tofu Cut in half and then score sideways. -2 Tbsp each: soy sauce, agave, vinegar, hoisin sauce -1 Tbsp sesame oil -1 Tsp garlic powder Mix and add to the tofu. Meet your new favorite vegan dinner—crispy, golden-brown tofu schnitzel. Even tofu skeptics will be impressed with this one! 🇩🇪 1. Prep Tofu: Slice 1 package of super firm tofu into thin slabs and pat them dry with paper towels. 2. Make Batter: In a bowl, mix ½ cup plant-based milk, 2 Tbsp soy sauce, 2 Tbsp nutritional yeast, 2 Tbsp cornstarch, 2 Tbsp flour, 1 tsp smoked paprika, and ½ tsp each garlic and onion powder. 3.
