The 3 Little Pigs Fairy Tale Craft
Elementary students will be focused & highly engaged making a "3 Little Pigs" storytelling wheel. It's a super-fun way to practice the "sequencing & retelling a story" standards. Patterns come in black & white for students, as well as full-color so that teachers can quickly & easily make an example to share.
Jack & the Beanstalk Fairy Tale Craft
K-2nd graders will be highly engaged making this fairy tale craft. It's a super-fun way to sequence & retell the Jack & the Beanstalk fairy tale. The green paper chain is the "stalk" that Jack climbs up to get to the giant's castle. The leaves (that are attached to a chain link) display graphics which students use to sequence & retell the story. Completed projects make an amazing hallway-wall display dangling from the ceiling.
The Wind Blew Sequencing & Retelling a Story Craft
My storytelling sliders are a quick, easy & fun (print & go) activity that will help kindergarten-2nd grade sequence & retell a story. Besides the slider craft, I've also included a "Let's Sequence The Wind Blew" worksheet, with a dice game option, a whole group activity, + a "Here's What Happened" writing prompt, which can be done as a whole group with younger students.
