For as long as he can remember, Jung Wooyoung had to fight for himself. Living in poverty, his mother had hung herself when he was 5– a few days before his little brother was born. He always took his father’s hits for his little brother, beatings were common in the little, cramped, damp apartment. Wooyoung is only able to get by in school because of his “business”. Scamming people for so-called ‘fortunes’ and robbing rich tourists. With this money he supports his little brother and his school endeavors. However, he gets caught in his fortune-telling fraud and is almost arrested when— a deal is made. The police chief’s son, Choi San, offers Wooyoung a ‘get out of jail free card’ if he joins a fishy occult club at the high school he goes to. Apparently, the school won’t fund them anymore unless they get another member.
