Summary
Hatred is a funny thing, though often, it is fate's favorite chess game.
For Sakusa Kiyoomi, his hatred for Miya Atsumu was far from what he wanted in his semi-okay life. He had a wonderful boyfriend, a comfortable position on the his university hockey team, and was a future player for the NHL. An annoying ice skater was the last thing he needed.
For Atsumu, his hatred for Sakusa and his bastard of a boyfriend was the bane of his existence. Atsumu had a few good friends and trophies stacked high, his life was perfectly fine without Sakusa and his boyfriend's rumors and glares.
But when Sakusa is betrayed by the person he least expected, his tongue slips and now his only choice is to rely on Atsumu and their hatred to serve the best revenge Sakusa could've - unfortunately - thought of.
OR: How Sakusa and Atsumu played a risky game and became each other's own pawns.

It’s been a strange night. Sakusa has surprised him at turns throughout their misadventures, but in the end Atsumu has to acknowledge that he’s probably just being a good teammate and seeing an acquaintance home safe after a night out.

Summary
“Atsumu,” Sakusa utters, causing his gaze to snap up.
His pupils are so blown out that Atsumu can't see where they blend with his black iris. His look seems just as frustrated as Atsumu has felt all these last fucking days. The furrow between his brows reveals that he wants Atsumu at least as much and yet he’s still hesitant.
Atsumu frowns and inhales sharply.
“Ya really do want me,” he says. “And ya hate it.”
He changes the angle of his knife, so it’s against Sakusa’s neck. He doesn’t look nearly as alarmed by the cold metal pressed against his skin as Atsumu might expect. Not nearly as alarmed as when Atsumu brings his mouth to Kiyoomi’s.

Summary
Sakusa Kiyoomi loves his family. He does.
But sometimes he wishes he had another.
It’s a complicated thing: families. You can love them and they can treat you well and traditions form without realizing and you can miss them dearly when apart. Yet you can also get frustrated with them and they can say the wrong things over and over and they can ignore your feelings and you can wish they would get out of your space. But they’re family, so it all cancels out.
Kiyoomi loves his family. He loves laughing over childhood memories and playing card games with his siblings on holidays and baking with his grandma and playing dress up with his niece.
He wishes they would stop ridiculing his mysophobia and criticizing his career choices and asking about grandchildren when he’s made it clear he’s into men.
So Kiyoomi doesn’t really want to go home for Christmas.
Lucky for him, he has a wonderful boyfriend who invited him to come home with him instead.
or: Sakusa Kiyoomi doesn't want to go home for Christmas, so he finds himself spending time with the extended Miya family instead. And maybe even finds he likes it there.

Summary
Foster’s car peels out of the clearing and flies down the forest road, kicking up a cloud of dust in its wake. Atsumu coughs, waving a hand to clear the air in front of him. When the dust settles, a massive grin breaks over his face.
“Looks like we’re spendin’ the night.” Osamu shrugs, hauling his duffle back out of the van. The beautiful, busted van.
“Guess it’s party time, boys!” Kuroo throws his arms around Hinata and Kenma’s shoulders. Bokuto howls into the air at the mention of “party”, and a mischievous buzz settles over everyone. Everyone except…
“No. No no no, I can’t stay here.” Kiyoomi says, eyes flitting towards Atsumu, face paler than the moon.
“It’s just one more night of camp Kiyo,” Motoya says, landing a hand on Kiyoomi’s shoulder. “What could go wrong?”
For Sakusa Kiyoomi, which is worse... Facing down a deadly pack of supernatural creatures? Or facing his feelings for one Miya Atsumu?

But neither was getting shot in the head nor losing his dignity months prior.

Akaashi’s brow furrowed, defensive even though he didn’t fully understand why. “It has nothing to do with our argument,” he said, though his voice lacked conviction.
Kenma’s hand smoothed along Akaashi’s back in a calming gesture, while Kuroo resumed pacing. “It has everything to do with it,” Kuroo snapped, his frustration growing. “That idiot is running away from everything—his emotions, his responsibilities, and now it’s spiraling into this mess. He’s hurting himself, and worse, he’s hurting you.”
Akaashi opened his mouth to respond, but Kuroo continued before he could. “Fuck, I never would’ve brought him to the club back then if I knew how much of a disaster this would turn into. What the hell was I thinking? Letting him turn into—” Kuroo stopped himself, shaking his head in exasperation. “What a moron.”
“It’s not as big of a deal as you’re making it,” Akaashi said quietly, though he knew he was lying through his teeth. “And, it’s not your fault.”
—
In which, Akaashi is tired of Bokuto constantly bringing his one night stands to their shared apartment. It’s loud, distracting and most of all, fuels to Akaashi’s jealousy.
