The city lights sparkled like stars in the distance as Akito and Toya sat on the rooftop of a quiet building. The cool night air brushed past them, but neither seemed to mind. “You’ve been distracted lately,” Toya said, his voice calm but laced with concern.
Akito leaned back, dreamily gazing at the sky. “It’s nothing. I was just… thinking about how far we’ve come.”
Toya tilted his head. “You don’t have to carry everything alone, Akito. You know that, right?”
Akito turned to him, a small smirk tugging at his lips. “Yeah, I know.” His voice softened, almost becoming a whisper as he leaned closer to Toya's ear. “Because I’ve got you, don’t I?”
