Summary:

When a dancer catches Castiel's attention, he can't help himself when he follows the man back to his tent...

Notes:

Finally put this idea into motion. For the longest time I've been wanting to write about a chance meeting between belly dancer Dean and royal Cas. This is the result.

Chapter Text

"What's the matter, dear brother? Are we not enjoying ourselves?" Gabriel inquired, leaning into Castiel's space over the armrests of their thrones. Castiel glanced down at where Gabriel was halfway in his lap. He hated these meaningless parties, full of faceless people, overflowing wine and food. And he found no pleasure in the dancers, despite how scantily clad they were.

"You know these parties bore me, brother. I attend because I have no choice." Castiel sighed heavily, rolling his eyes. Roaring cheers drowned out Gabriel's reply, making him and Castiel look out amongst the crowd to see what had gotten their attention. Near the back of the room, Castiel spotted a figure dressed in a long vibrant orange skirt, his face hidden by a mask. He was too far away to make out any details.

The crowd parted as the figure slowly made his way down into the large marbled stone pit where the other dancers were still writhing to the music that was played by instrumentalists. Castiel sat up straighter in his seat, as did Gabriel, watching as the figure stepped down into the middle of the pit, the other dancers moving to give him space.

Castiel could now make out more details of his outfit. His skirt was wrapped with golden chains, criss-crossing over his narrow hips. More golden chairs laid across his collarbones. His mask resembled a fox, pointed ears tipped in white at the top, covering his face. His body was lithe, beautifully tanned and defined.

Castiel felt a heat coil in his stomach at the sight of this dancer. He'd never seen anything so beautiful, even the other dancers didn't compare to this one man. The man began swaying his hips to the music, his stomach muscles flexing with the motion. Castiel bit his fist, his gaze transfixed on the man as he danced around the pit. He moved effortlessly.

"Oh ho, so you aren't entirely dead inside." he heard Gabriel snicker beside him. He ignored his brother's remark, paying full attention to the dancer. For a mere moment, he could swear the dancer was watching him right back, though he shrugged it off as a trick of the man's mask. He groaned, feeling his pants become tight with his growing arousal.

All too soon, the man's dance ended and he left the pit, to disappear presumably from wherever it was he had appeared. Before he could make a conscious decision, Castiel was out of his chair and pushing his way through the crowd to follow the man. He soon found himself outside, the warm night air oddly cooling his heated skin. He took a moment to gaze up at the Heavens.

He looked down just in time to catch a glimpse of the man disappearing through one of the many tents scattered around the grounds outside the palace. Without thinking, he rushed towards the tent, only stopping when he reached the entrance. Was he really going to do this? he wondered, squinting at the canvas tent. He pushed his way into the tent.

Castiel's mouth fell open at the sight of gorgeous emerald eyes, a spatter of freckles and the most tantalizing lips. "You should not be back here." the man hissed, waving his hands in a shooing motion towards Castiel. Castiel stood frozen to the spot, unable to look away from the man's beauty. Hands hit his chest and he took a step back, blinking down at the hands still pressed against him.

Castiel reached out and grabbed the man around his waist, lifting him off the ground and urging him to wrap his legs over his hips as he crushed his lips over the man's. A surprised moan fell from the man's mouth as his fingers dug into Castiel's shoulders. Castiel moaned back in response, rolling his hips to rub his arousal against the man's ass. "Fuck." the man cursed. "That can be arranged." Castiel whispered in his ear.

Notes:

To anyone wondering why I'm putting out all these new WIPs, I got inspired to write stuff I've been wanting to work on for some time now. And I had a release of creative energy after weeks of nothing. Blame my muse...
