People have asked how we could have possibly moved away from Santa Cruz, California! The answer is that Florence reminded us of Santa Cruz when we were kids in the 60's, when summers were exciting and busy but winters were quiet and cozy. And thankfully, Florence is still the same in that respect, and also offers a wider variety of outdoor activities year round!
