"Give your local birds a place to nest with a hand-crafted side-mount birdhouse. These homes are made from rough-sawn, weather-resistant cedar with a beautiful golden, red yellow hue. Each home will have different characteristics like holes, knots, and color variations. After a season or 2 of weather, these will transition into a rustic grey. All joints are sealed with non-toxic wood glue and finishing nails to last season after season. A standard 1 1/2\" entry hole is cut for a bigger variety of birds. This type of home will not have an easy clean-out. "This birdhouse is my end grain bird house that can be mounted on a fence or wall or flush to a tree. It measures 5-1/2\" x 5-1/2\" x 8\" tall. Bottom opens for easy clean out and mounting screws are included. I seal the finish with Thompson's water seal to help protect from the weather. Secondary color is cedar.for some reason I cannot link a photo to the secondary color but you can see it in the photos above."
