Early Baroque - 1620 to 1640

Ruffs trimmed with simple reticella lace were replaced by collars made of bobbin or needle lace. Then collars reduced to sheer berthas or nothing at all. People depicted wearing three or more dresses are placed in Sections with pointers in the two main Sections covering the 1630s and then the 1640s.
