The Mediterranean inspired mantle shelf of my dreams… Made from a basic white cube storage! I’m always looking for furniture pieces to upcycle, and if I can turn sometime simple into a whole new piece that’s barely recognisable, even better. For this project, I used one of these cube storage, with four compartments. I mean, […] Read More

Kerry & Brenda | DIY besties on Instagram: "These arched shelves for the builtins are done! We used 3/4” plywood to make the arches and attached the arch to 1x3” poplar boards using pocket holes to create three face frame and used 1x2’s across the front of the shelves. We filled the nail holes with wood filler, used bondo to cover the countersunk screws on the sides and caulked all the inside seams. Then we painted using our spray gun. We can’t wait to install these next week! Follow along as we finish these built ins and for all of our other DIY projects! Natalie Park | DIY, Builds & Design on Instagram: "THE ARCH IS INSTALLED onto the cabinet! 🎉 Isn’t this arched cabinet really coming to life now? Last time I made my green arched cabinet almost a year ago, I made a TON of kerf cuts on some 3/4” plywood and steamed it in order for it to bend like this. This time around, I’m using bendable plywood that I got from my local lumber warehouse and my goodness, it made my life so much easier! 🙌🏻 I used the thinner 3mm ply for the inside because in my opinion, it’s too thin to put on the outside. Then used the 9mm ply for the outside. They were pretty bendy and flexible, so I didn’t have to fight with it when installing! Next up, let’s make these arched doors using the other half of the ring I cut out of MDF (the first half was used to make Build Arched Cabinet, Plywood Craft Ideas, Arch Shelf Diy, Adding Arch To Bookcase, Diy Arched Shelves, Arched Cabinet Ikea Hack, Ikea Arched Cabinet, Diy Rounded Cabinet, Arch Cabinet Built In
