As many of you know by now, one of my favorites is using a deposit-only Demi to grey-blend as an alternative to permanent color when possible. This offers a more dimensional result, zero underlying warmth (never fades “brassy”), and an ultra soft grow out for my low-maintenance queens. When I do this, I like to formulate about one shade lighter than the natural base to create a “highlighted” effect, and add warmth since there is NO underlying warmth in the grey we’re applying it over. For my client here, we used Goldwell Colorance 2% (7vol) 60ml developer, 30ml 6N, 30ml 7G Have you used deposit-only demi’s for grey blending? #
