Sibia Torres Padilla | DIYs on Instagram: "A while back | learned this neat technique for making DIY bio plastic (biodegradable plastic) from @a.playful.day The original idea is by @muddly_puddly It’s a great alternative to making traditional sun catchers with contact paper. Which to be fair I also enjoy making. This process is a little bit longer but so interesting and definitely worth a try. The recipe calls for a 4:1 ratio 4 tbsp of hot water to 1 tbsp gelatin powder Once I had my mixture ready I used lids to shape them into circles (this also allowed me to make a lot at once before the gelatin cooled too much I decorated them with flowers before the mixture cooled and covered the flowers with some of the gelatin mixture using my fingers Then I left them by a sunny window to dry for a d
