Blending Boards
Blending Boards for K-2 phonics - 200 pages! Use with whole group, small groups, or home practice every day and week. From Positively Learning #blendingboards #phonics #decoding
The Reading Mentor / Teacher / Tutor on Instagram: "When to use “er”, “ir”, or “ur” ? These three phonograms sound the same, which makes it difficult when students have to spell. Teach them these tricks to help them remember! With this hack, the little readers will gain confidence when spelling words and will also help them to develop their vocabulary. **It also helps to know that ‘er’ is the most common spelling of the /er/ sound (40%), ‘ur’ is the second most common (26%), and ‘ir’ is the least common (13%). When all else fails and the child does not know the proper spelling, knowing frequency will help students make an educated spelling guess. I hope you find this information helpful. Comment “Posters” for the spelling hack posters. #readingisfun #phonicsisfun #literacycoaching
