Inspired by the beautiful Ginkgo Leaf these stylized earrings are original Ink & Watercolor paintings. They are hand painted on 1mm thick Italian Pressed-Cotton Watercolor Paper. I paint the front and the back in full detail using Archival Pigma Ink and Inktense Watercolors. After painting, I coat them in two layers of protective varnish, making them UV-Resistant and Water Resistant. Once complete, they have almost no weight. By using a tiny brush I applied thin lines that resemble the structure of a leaf. After the bisque firing earrings were glazed with clear glaze and fired again to 1200 degrees Celsius.
