Red Rock Canyon: 3 mile scenic one way drive that takes you through numerous stops from where you can stop and hike a variety of trails or rock climb. . 2. Valley of Fire State Park: See 2000 year old petroglyphs carved into massive red sandstone formations in the Mohave Desert. Trails include Petroglyph Canyon which is the best place in the Valley of Fire to see petroglyphs. Slot canyon hikes include the Pink Canyon and the White Domes Trail. . 3. Floyd Lamb State Park: The park is centered on Tule Springs, a series of small natural spring-fed lakes that form an oasis in this part of the Mojave Desert. .
