As a physical therapist here are my three common go-to exercises. The side step over, forward and backward walking and staggered deadlift can be effective glute strengthening exercises ✅ As far as repetitions go- it’s important to make sure the exercise feels challenging and the muscles are getting worked using proper form. Gina Amin on Instagram: "COMMON BULGARIAN SPLIT SQUAT MISTAKES ❌ There are so many tips and cues when it comes to the Bulgarian split squat, but here are a few key ones I see a lot that can really mess with your form: 1️⃣ Overextending the back leg – Make sure your back leg is at a comfortable angle, not too far behind you. This helps with balance and prevents unnecessary strain. 2️⃣ Not slightly leaning forward – A slight forward lean in the torso helps target the glutes and hamstrings more effectively. Stay upright, but don’t lock your body in place. 3️⃣ Knee collapsing inward – Keep that knee tracking over your toes! If it caves in, it puts a lot of stress on the joint and throws off your alignment. 4️⃣ Bouncing at the bottom – Control the movement! Don’t let gravity take over. A l
