This recipe will give you about three full trays of biscotti cookies about 60 cookies. Ingredients: •3 cups of all purpose flour (430 grams) •1 tbsp. baking powder (10 grams) •3/4 cup sugar (128 grams) •1/2 tsp. salt •1/2 tsp. baking soda •1 full cup of raw hazelnuts (not chopped, whole) •1 cup of raw whole almonds •2 large eggs •1 cup fresh orange juice plus zest from one orange Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 2. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, eggs, nuts, orange juice and zest. 3. Mix all ingredients and until combined. The dough will be sticky and that is ok. 4. Wet your palms with water and divide the dough into three equal parts. 5. Shape each portion into a log and flatten them on the prepared baking sheet. Ensure the logs are flattened to your desired thickness for the biscotti. 6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. 7. Once cooled completely, use a large knife to cut the biscotti into 1/3 inch thick slices. 8. Place the biscotti slices flat on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. 9. Rebake the biscotti for an additional 15 minutes to crisp them up. 10. Allow the biscotti to cool completely before serving. If needed, bake for a few extra minutes for extra crispiness. 11. Enjoy your homemade biscotti! 🍪 #biscotti #nuts #sivanskitchen #reels #instagood #instagram #cookies #homemade #italy #italian #fomo | Sivan's Kitchen | Facebook
