Shadhavar
Shadhavar is a legendary unicorn from medieval Islamic bestiaries, a character in Persian mythology. Al-Qazwini claimed that Shadhawar lives in the country of Rum (Byzantium, Asia Minor), which looks like a gazelle and has one horn with 42 hollow branches. When the wind passes through these cavities, there is a pleasant sound that makes other animals sit and listen. The horns of the shadhavars, given to the powerful, were used as flutes: when played on one side of them, the sounds made people smile, when on the other — cry.
