Jill Finley on Instagram: "Prepare your appliqué shapes by turning the edge under before you add them to your block. 1. Make templates from Jillily Studio Maker Paper. 2. Press template to the wrong side of your fabric—the heat will make it stick. 3. Cut fabric around template leaving a 1/4” seam allowance. 4. Moisten the seam allowance with starch using a Jillily Studio Starch Brush. 5. Use a Jillily Studio Quilter’s Digit to pull the fabric over the template as you press with an iron. 6. Remove the template—it can be used again! 7. Lastly, when all your pieces are prepared, stick them to your block using Jillily Studio Appliqué-Glue. (Not shown in this video.)
