Next, I'm coming in with one bag of my frozen cranberries. I'm just going to put those right on top of our onions. Perfect. You can use fresh if you don't want to use frozen. Next, we're coming in with our pork chops. You can use whatever size pork chops but we're going to do about two pounds of meat right on top of those cranberries and those onions. This is going to be such a delicious and easy festive crockpot dinner. I absolutely love making this dinner, you know, around the holiday season. The cranberry just is so yummy and who doesn't love a good pork chop. Okay. Think that's all we'll be able to get the fit here. We'll freeze that one for later. Alright and for our sauce I'm bringing in my big measuring cup. And I have my ten ounce apple juice that we're going to pour right into our measuring cup. Probably don't need this big of a measuring cup but I just did it for safety. Next I'm going to bring in my balsamic vinaigrette. And we're going to add a couple tablespoons. Super strong so you don't need too much. That should be perfect. And this next ingredient is optional but I'm going to add a little bit of brown sugar right into our mixture. Perfect. One cup of brown sugar. I'm going to bring in my whisk and it's time to mix this together so that we have a delicious sauce. These flavors will compliment the pork chops and the cranberries and the onions just perfectly. It is a great balance of sweet and savory and I think you're really going to love it. Alright that looks mixed well enough. It is time to drizzle this on our entire crockpot. That apple juice smells so yummy. There goes the sugar. Make sure we get that on our chops. Oh my goodness. Isn't that look delicious? Oh my gosh. When that cooks down, it's going to glaze up. Oh yeah. We're going to add a little bit of salt just to counteract all that sugar. This is kind of necessary but if you don't want too much sodium, you can skip it. Then, of course, we're just going to do a little bit of black pepper. That's all I'm going to use for my seasoning because there's plenty of other flavors going on. We don't want to distract from those delicious flavors. Last but certainly not least, I have my apple slices. I was feeling lazy today. So, I bought the already pre-cut slices. So, we're just going to place a few of these apples right on top of our pork chops because what is better than pork chops and apple sauce. Not much. And these apples are going to get nice and tender and pretty much turn into apple sauce in this crockpot. Oh my goodness. This is going to be so delicious. I'm so excited to be sharing this with you for the holidays. I'm really just trying to cover the whole surface area of our crockpot with our apples. But just like with all my recipes you can customize this however you like. You can do skinless apples. You could skip apples. You could some green apples but I think that these are going to be perfect for what we're going for. I would say we're using about two to three apples here. So, if you're doing fresh apples, just keep that measurement in mind. Alright and that is it you guys. Our delicious festive dinner is ready. We just gotta go ahead and pop this on high and let it cook. Alright, you guys. It's been four hours on high. We're going to go ahead and turn off our crockpot and let's check out these chops. Oh my goodness. My whole house smells so good right now. I'm so excited to dig into these. Smells delicious. Looks delicious. Let's go ahead and grab our chops with our fruit and let's get some of those onions. Oh my goodness. And I have a spoon here so I can grab some of that delicious liquid to put on top. Oh we gotta make sure we see that chop. This is going to be so good you guys. Mm. Oh I want to see it. Alright I'm just going to cut right into it. It's one of the smaller chops. Oh. So tender. Fell apart. Perfectly cooked. Probably don't even need a knife. Yeah you don't even need a knife. Oh I got a little bit of that cranberry on there. It's going to be a perfect bite. Is it good? Is it good? Mm. Is it good? That is pork chops and apple sauce to a whole new level you guys. You gotta try it.
