This means they are naturally light, bright, warm and sunny spaces. 1️⃣ Whites, neutrals and pale colours with a cool undertone (blue/green/purple) will enhance the feeling of light and space, making your room feel airy and bright. These kinds of colours would be great for your walls in a large or open-plan space. 2️⃣ BUT the intense levels of light can wash out colour, particularly around midday, so you can afford to use more saturated or darker colours, particularly on kitchen cabinetry, flooring, or large items of furniture like a sofa. 3️⃣ If you have a lot of glass/glazing in the space then opt for a palette of mid to dark blues and greens to help visually cool down the space. ‼️ AVOID ‼️ Very warm, saturated colours like the pinky/red sunset colours we talked about with west-facing rooms, which could feel very intense in a sunny, south-facing space. ⭐️ Bonus Tip ⭐️ If you love muted colours that have a lot of grey in them, then you can go mad for them in south-facing spaces.
