Being this close to Jesus Christ is a profound reality to my soul and i could’nt dare trade this sweet life, no matter how many trials accompany this life of profound depth— (not that i have attained GREAT depth yet but i can confidently say that He is carrying me to it with Himself)…what i have with Him in this union of love is not a result of anything i have done to deserve it rather it is a gift, an undeseved favor based merely on His goodness and grace toward me. It can not be humanly attained, it must be a gift given by the Beloved Himself. If we desire such closeness, and if one can make some sacrifice to draw close to Him , that is only because He has placed that desire in your heart and has given you the grace to draw near Him.
