Macy Blackwell on Instagram: "🍂Leaf Arch Tutorial!🍁 Super easy DIY porch arch you can do this fall! All you need is some chicken wire, zip ties, and fall garlands! 1. Add the chicken wire to a pvc pipe base. (You could also just add it directly to your porch columns and walls, but building the base keeps everything damage/nail free!) 2. I got 20 Amazon fall garlands and started securing them onto the chicken wire with zip ties. You may use more less depending on thickness. Amazon quality is pretty thin compared to what you would get at hobby lobby, so we used all 20! #fallporch #fallhomedecor #falldiy #leafarch #decoratewithme"

We wanted life-size witches, so we made them tall—over 5.5 ft. Make an upper body form. We used grocery bags that we had and tied them to the PVC pipes. Make a lower body. We used a pool noodle that we cut in half and zip-tied to each side. Make a dress. We used black plastic sheeting. We made life-size witches and wanted the dresses long to fit them, so we cut it over 8 ft. Drape it over the stand evenly. Check to make sure you like the flow of the dress. Pull together and zip-tie under the upper body. Make a head. We used a pumpkin candy bin. We drilled a hole in the center of the bottom and placed it on top of the PVC for the head. Make the head glow. We placed outdoor pumpkin LED lights inside the pumpkin head. Make arms. We used black tablecloths for the arms. Wrap it around the neck and place them forward to the length you want. We kept ours long so they could hold hands. Make it fancy. We added a cape in the back. We also added tulle fabric that draped over the entire witch and zip-tied it at the neck. Add the witch’s hat 🧙‍♀️ We used a glue gun to keep them in place. Make it sturdy. We placed leftover stone pavers and weights on the stands to make them sturdy and add support. Do a happy dance! You did it! Be proud of your creation. Light those witches up 🧙‍♀️ Looking forward to seeing your creations! Tag me so I can see your witches come to life 🧙‍♀️ Happy crafting, witches! 🧙‍♀️ #halloweendecor #witches #diyhalloween #designerlookforless #affordabledecor #potterybarn | Morgan Elizabeth Home
