As an experienced educator, I involved in preparing and executing “Reality Baby Care” project. It is a program that prepares for parenthood by providing real-life experience. I developed 7 weeks Reality Baby Care program to fully cover all necessary experience for parenthood. Reality babies can be programmed to any difficulty level to any time and date. The introduction, lesson plan, and the final report along with pictures are included in the document.
culture. Aside from being a dominant aesthetic of mass culture, the cute also became a form
of expression with increasing virtual and visual communication. Oscillating between physical
world of commodity culture and digitalized media culture, cute’s visual, cultural and
economic meanings are expanded. The specific form of cute (and inevitable weird) culture
has paved its way to the top of the world economy: Japanese Kawaii Culture. The
proliferation of Kawaii aesthetic brought about revelations in art, fashion, and design even in
everyday life practices. Obsession with Kawaii culture opens the door to new distorted
visualities that create paradoxes between mundane reality of everyday life and surreal fantasy

The focus of this paper is the exploration of the Japanese cute (and the weird) aesthetics
impact and its conceptual methodology in the popular visual culture and the contemporary art
scene. As a visual way of distorting everyday life, glitch aesthetics is experimented and used
by mostly video artists. In the complementary art work; experimental glitch and multilayered
video effects are used for the artistic expression and exploration of ‘distorting everyday life’
regarding ‘Japanese cute’s conceptual methodology; intensifications, hybrid visualization and
complicated imagery.
This article briefly delves into the issue of the role of social media (aka, cyber space) on the formations of economic and cultural developments of nations. First, a brief account of a socio-economic background of South Korea will be given to relate to its future survival in global economy. Then, the role of music and film sectors in the social media as a popular form of entertainment industry will be evaluated especially in terms of their function to provide economic benefits and promote Korean culture.
Key words: Korean wave, culture industry, popular culture, entertainment industry, social media, globalization.
