Z/C: jump
X/V: action
down: crouch
down + Z/C: drop through platform

Once gained, elemental abilities can be used by pressing the action button. Metal (white) allows a dash, which can break blocks. Fire (orange) allows flame, which can be used to burn vines and jump slightly higher than normal (during a jump, press the action button).
Many thanks to thisismypassport for Shrinko8, without which this wouldn't have been possible.

I absolutely cannot figure out how to get past this screen. Any pointers?
Some places can't be reached. My apologies if you spent much time on the attempt.
I feel really dumb, but am I missing something? Not long after the first checkpoint there's a location where you need to break some blocks, but there's a fire creature between you and the blocks. So when I dash towards the blocks, I lose my metal powerup. I feel like I'm stuck, but seeing as I can get metal or water in the previous screen, I'm sure it's solvable.
Edit: I am confirmed dumb. Ducking is low enough for the creature to just fly over me. Not my proudest moment.
i was also a victim to stupidity :(
Great platforming controls and very unique design! I like the concept 😀
Platforming controls were smooth. The lack of a map or any tooltips did make finding all the seeds take multiple backtracks through the map however. Overall a great platformer.
Thank you. I wanted to fit this into a single PICO-8 cart, so had to keep only the essentials. I would've liked to include a minimap but there just wasn't room to fit it in. There is a partial map in the instruction manual.
Also, there is one more seed.
