and now, you're my sunlight. a little dimmer and a little more dull than sunshine, but you still surround my life with warmth through memories. maybe someday you'll see this or maybe you won't. so many things remind me of you and I just wanted to get it off my chest. I miss you katie and I just wish you would give me some type of closure because I can't shake you from my head and it's driving me crazy. I only know what movies you like because of your twitter. I only know what things you laugh at because your spam on instagram. I don't know what music you like now. I just want to ask you how you are and more importantly, who you are, but I don't know how. I want to ask you if you've ever heard of billie eilish because I think you would really like her. i want to ask you how your finals went and what you did on Christmas. I want to ask you for help with my photo class. I want to ask you if your moms okay and if you're still infuriated at your dad and how you think bubba boy is. I want to ask you if I ever cross your mind. I won't because you're both physically and metaphorically thousands of miles away but I just dream about doing it so often. I always thought we'd be okay and meet in college and be best friends like I dreamt of since 6th grade in my room when some girl who ran a taylor swift fan account was texting me when it was the first time I truly felt special. this is what runs through my mind when I think of who you are kaitlin day. I just wish I really knew.
