1.2M views · 2.4K comments | I learned this on the internet | egg, salad | I learned this on the internet trying this egg salad recipe I saw online | By Kristin's Friends | Alright, y'all. I have a greased loaf pan here and what I'm doing, you can see what I'm doing. Cracking eggs right on into my loaf pan. So, I'm trying this recipe I saw online. Um I think I might start doing that y'all. I want to I want to know what y'all think like making recipes for the first time on camera to see if it's good. If y'all should try it, if I like it, things that look good to me. So, that's what we're doing here today. So, I'm cracking I'm going to crack eight eggs into this loaf pan. I just sprayed it with some olive oil spray. One, two, three, four, five, six. Okay, these eggs are stick. Okay. I'm having a hard time. Let's see and I'm going to make sure we got no shells. Alright. So now, We have eight. Alright, get that stuff out. Okay, whoops. Get that, get that group of stuff out. Alright, so now I have this this thing. I don't what's this called? I don't know. Big baking pan, something. So, I'm going to put this. Oh, I'm going to I'm going to empty out a little bit of the water but we're going to put our eight eggs. Actually, I'm going to put nine eggs so it's so it stays. So, we're going to put this in the oven at 350 for 30 minutes and then we're going to take it out and I'll show you all the next step. Alright, y'all. So, remember I cook this in the oven. Um nine eggs in this loaf pan. So, I'm trying this recipe I saw online and we making we're making an egg salad but this woman said that this is an easiest, this is the easiest way that she she makes eggs rather than hard boiling em and peeling em and so far, I kind of like it. So, we're just going to chop this up. Um yeah. So, we're going to cut this up and we're going to have story time. Once upon a time in a kingdom far far away, there lived a cat named Frankie Fufu. Story over. I going to try and keep going y'all but alright so we just going to cut this up and yeah like I said y'all I'm going to I'm going to start doing some recipes that I find online and just going to I'm just going to make em on camera with y'all and we're going to see how they are so I saw this recipe for egg salad that I want to try I do love a good egg salad so we going to try it so she cut it up real fine now y'all know y'all y'all know how I feel about that I think this is perfect yeah I I feel like it don't have to be that small but it can be if you want so this big bowl here. So, I'm going to put this right on in my bowl. Alright and we're going to use the same cutting board, okay? So, right on in here. Um now, she also, we going to take let's see. We're going to do a quarter cup of a few things. Okay, I'm all over the place. So, we have some chopped up red onion. We're going to do a quarter cup. Quarter cup chopped up red onion right there, alright? And then, we're going to do a/ 4 cup of chopped parsley, fresh chopped parsley. So, we're going to put that right there, okay? We're going to do a quarter cup of fresh chopped chives. We're going to put that right there, okay? We also going to do in here half cup of mayonnaise. Y'all y'all need always need mayonnaise and egg salad. Alright. I'm just following this lady's recipe. So we're going to see. We're going to do about a tablespoon of Dijon mustard. Alright. So we're going to put that about tablespoon. Okay. We're going to do a little bit of salt. I'm going to do my Himalayan pink salt. Little bit more. Probably about a teaspoon or so. We do a little bit of black pepper. Um I think to taste. I think she said a teaspoon but I would say due to taste due to what you like. Alright, I gotta add one more thing y'all. I feel like this is her secret ingredient. We got some pickles. So, I got some dill pickles here. Um so, she said she used four. Four, I I think yeah, she said four. So, I'm like, wait, does she mean four whole pickles? No, right? That would be a lot. I don't think, I don't think she can mean four whole pickles. So, now we're going to we're going to use my amazing knife skills. Just kidding. I don't have any knife skills. I'm going to cut this up. Um again, These are real big chunks. It should probably smaller for egg salad but I I don't really feel like doing that. So, I'm just going to do my best. Okay. Um are those too big? That's kind of big but you know what? That's fine. We just we just doing it to get the taste. So, we're putting our four pickles. I'm going to bring this back. Alright, y'all. So, I'm moving my knife out of the way and my cutting board. So, we have our we have our eight eggs or nine eggs I used. I think she said eight but I use nine eggs, pickles par parsley, chives, red onion, mayo, salt, pepper, dijon mustard. Now, we're going to give this a mix. Now, y'all yeah. Uh I think y'all if y'all make this, maybe cut your pickles smaller but y'all know y'all know how I do, okay? I I have big pickles. It's fine. I just don't have time. You know, I actually want a pickle right now. I'm excited. I'm hungry. I do all like pickles. Mmm. Mmm. Okay. You know what? I like pickles sometimes. Like I don't buy em but if they're here, they I don't know. They're good. Alright. So, I'm just going to eyeball this and see if it needs anything else but I think it's looking pretty good. So, I feel like egg salad always taste best when you put it in the fridge and let it sit for a while but I'm going to try it right now y'all because I want to see I want to see if it's good. I had this egg salad once before that had olives in it and I love olives and I thought that was real good so I might add some olives but alright y'all. So I have half an English muffin here. So, I'm just going to make myself like a little open-faced sandwich, alright? Put some egg salad right on top. Look how much I'm putting on. Alright. So, time to try it. Remember y'all never made this before? So, yeah, we're going to try it here. Let's see. Uh Y'all. Alright. Y'all this is a win. Y'all should try this. It's real good.

355 reactions · 81 shares | Mini Quiche Lorraine Ingredients: Frozen short crust pastry sheets, thawed (I use @pampaspastry ) 6 slices bacon, cooked and cut up 1 ¼ cups shredded tasty cheese 1/2 brown onion, diced and cooked 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped 1 ¼ cups milk 4 large eggs ¼ teaspoon salt ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper Method: • Preheat the oven to 190 degrees celsius, and grease your cake tins or molds. •Take the thawed pastry sheets and cut them into the shapes you need for your molds. • Place your pastry into your greased molds and pierce them with a fork. • Bake in the oven until crust edges are lightly browned and shells are about 3/4 fully cooked, 5 to 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and let sit until needed. • While the shells are baking, cook bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until browned and crispy. Drain on paper towel and chop up. • Cook the onion until soft. • Mix cheese, onions, parsley and crumbled bacon together in a bowl; divide mixture evenly among tart shells. • Whisk milk, eggs, salt, and pepper together in a bowl. Ladle egg mixture into each tart shell until about 2/3 full. • Bake until set in the middle and shells are golden brown, 25 to 30 minutes.
