What a fun piece Katie Meyer created with Lucky lavender, Lemonade and Dixie Belle Blue.
As an experiment, I painted an old brown leather pair of cowboy boots I bought at at tag sale for one dollar. Two coats of Mint Julep, a little Midnight Sky on the heel, some black glaze and clear wax and viola, perfection! I used the sanding sponge after painting with Mint Julep and it made them buttery smooth! Love Dixie Belle. You can paint anything with Dixie Belle!

Chair was painted with Dixie Belle Hurricane Gray and accented with Whitewash glaze. Table body was painted with Hurricane Gray and accented with Black glaze. Drawers were painted with Fluff and the top was painted with midnight sky base coat, used a crackle glaze, then painted top coat with Fluff and then used Up in Smoke Gel Stain on top of that.
