Bird/Space Altoids Tin Shrine

Magically, my internet works again (for now...) so I'm just going to take advantage of it and blog before it craps out again randomly! I made this altered altoids tin shrine for my pal Audio for her belated birthday! I first sanded the whole thing down to remove the Altoids labeling and colors, and also so the paint would stick to it. Last post was fish in a bowl, this week, fish in a tin. A pond in an Altoids tin. Still obviously not 1/12, that is still in the works! But I love finding different containers for my Koi to swim in..... Sometimes the simplest shapes are the hardest to make...the lily pads took a while! Wish you could see the bottom, it looks like the bottom of a real pond, it is hard to get a picture through the resin! Great fun to make, thinking about making a tutorial...what do you think? :) Blessings, Kim
