It's during the toughest times of your life that you'll get to see the true colors of the people who say they care about you. Notice who sticks around & who doesn't, & be grateful to those who leave you, for they have given you the room to grow in the space they abandoned, & the awareness to appreciate the people who loved you when you don't feel lovable.

...you are born with it! -- that's a matter of fact. there is no "i'm worthy if...". at this exact moment you are worthy of love! the way you are. with all your flaws. with all your tears. you ask for what you need and that's never too much. i think there's a quote that says something like "the way people treat you is a statement of who they are. it's not a statement about you." -- this feels like truth to me. you're already worthy. you are enough. you are loved simply because you are you.

Thank You Lord for giving me the brand new year ahead. Help me live the way I should as each new day I tread. Give me gentle wisdom that I might help a friend, give me strength courage so a shoulder I might lend. The year ahead is empty. Help me fill it with good things. Each new day filled with joy happiness it brings. Amen.
