Details ✨ If you missed it yesterday, there’s 460 tapestry wool knots, 350 of which are covered in lavender flowers. There’s approximately 1100 tiny lavender french knots in this piece. This embroidered farmland took me over 13 hours to complete, and it might be my favourite piece to date. Lots of progress on this Fall farmland with my favourite tapestry wool color palette! I really love how these colors came together in the satin stitch too. And of course I had to include a metallic thread barbed wire fence 😅 The empty dry grass field will be covered in hay bails soon enough. The themes of the next two collections are crowd favourites: mini hay bales, and lavender farm fields. I’m also taking a moment to appreciate these pieces as they’re on their way to new homes this week! Is it weird that there’s a teeny tiny part of me that feels strange letting an important piece go? However, I’m so overjoyed to know that someone appreciates my art enough to hang it in their home! I hope everyone has a lovely week ✨

BEHIND THE DESIGNS | THE PRIDE This collection is particularly close to my heart as it has involved three generations of my family - a granny-mother-daughter collaboration!
