Magically, my internet works again (for now...) so I'm just going to take advantage of it and blog before it craps out again randomly! I made this altered altoids tin shrine for my pal Audio for her belated birthday! I first sanded the whole thing down to remove the Altoids labeling and colors, and also so the paint would stick to it. If you decided to make a fairy garden, choose the proper container that is interesting and fun. Also consider to use a good weed free potting soil; wet your soil prior to pressing it into your container to make it easier to design your garden and mold it with hills and valleys. Altoid tin library

This month at Alpha Stamps, it's all about Alice. My favorite characters from Alice in Wonderland happen to be the Tweedles, both Dum and Dee. Guess who got star billing on the two works I did this month? First, I made an altered tin. I removed the lid before covering the outside with polka dotted paper, and the inside with a beautiful background image from a collage sheet. The outside mushrooms are a chipboard insert.
